Obituary for Iona Hutto (Lee)
Warner Robins, GA – Iona (Lee) Hutto, 92, who resided at Antebellum Grove Senior Living went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services. Pastor Johnny Ellison will be officiating.
Iona was born in Andersonville, GA on September 5, 1926 to the late Bryant and Louise (Justice) Lee. She worked 44 years until her retirement as a civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base. Iona was a charter member of Green Acres Baptist Church for 56 years. She served faithfully on various church committees, ministries and as the church clerk. In addition to her parents, Iona was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Joe Hutto and her son, Ronnie Hutto.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Linda Harridge (Ross) of Lake Sinclair, GA; son: Cliff Hutto (Vicki) of Warner Robins, GA; daughter-in-law: Patsy Hutto of Perry, GA; 6 grandchildren: Andrea Sells (Jarrod), Ryan Hutto (Amy), David Harridge (Joni), Chance Harridge (Amanda), Erin Morton (Jonathan) and Jared Hutto (Deanna); 9 great-grandchildren and her sister, Doris Moore of Warner Robins, GA.
