Obituary for James Ray "Buster" Small

Byron, GA – James Ray “Buster” Small, 86, passed away at his home on Friday, August 23, 2019. Services celebrating his life will be held privately by the family.
Buster was born in Noblesville, IL on February 2, 1933 to the late Charles and Mable (Miller) Small. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Executive Coach Corporation, where he was the General Manager. Buster was the former owner and operator of B&T Provisions, which was a wholesale meat distributor and beef house. Buster was an avid Chicago sports fan. He loved every sports team in Chicago, but he did favor the Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing golf and poker in his spare time. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 63 years, Ann (Friedman) Small of Byron, GA; daughters: Candie Johnson (Erik) of Forsyth, GA and Chris Wilcox (David) of Byron, GA; 4 grandchildren: Ashley Deihl (Tim), Robert Johnson, Danielle George (Joe) and Austin Wilcox; 2 great-grandchildren: Kayleigh Deihl and James George; niece: Patty Reddicker; 2 great- nephews: Patrick Parker and Paul Aaron Parker.
