Dearborn Heights, MI– Pauline (Utterback) Cole, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Unit in Perry, GA. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the services and immediately following.
Pauline was born on August 31, 1932 in Morehead, KY to the late William and Maggie Marie (Jenkins) Utterback. She was one of six children. She retired as an electronics circuit board assembler from Electrotec. Pauline loved spending her time playing dominos and cards and loved watching game shows in her later years. She also loved to watch Dancing with the Stars and The Voice. She was a part of a bowling league and a Bunco club. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James D. Cole; daughters: Peggy Ostrom and Judith Calandra.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shirley Lomas, Timothy (Darlene) Johnson, Kimberly Little, Phillip “Scott” (Janet) Johnson and Lisa Rodriguez (Tony); 22 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren, and her “Baby” Griffen the dog.
