Obituary for Thomas Jefferson Pittman
Fort Valley, GA – Thomas Jefferson Pittman, 60, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, GA.
Thomas was born on May 5, 1958 in Butler, GA to the late Willie Pittman and Betty Jean (Perdue) Pittman of Fort Valley. He worked hard all his life and was a very gifted and skilled carpenter. Thomas was a very compassionate person who always found good in everyone. He had an infectious sense of humor and was always striving to make people smile. His greatest joy in his life was his grandchildren. In addition to his father, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Moye.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Katina Wright of Fort Valley; grandchildren: Matthew Pittman and Destiny Maddox; life partner: Mary Nunley of Ten Mile, TN; sisters: Deloris King of Macon, GA and Sandra Jackson (Tommy) of Carrollton, GA; brother: Raymond Pittman (Penny) of Thomaston, GA and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
